Wonderful setting, wonderful food, awesome staff. I had the Hunter's pie: a heady mix of veg, mushroom, and elk in a rich gravy with mashed potatoes, covered in cheese. It was amazing. With tender meat and crispy veg. My wife had the soup and salad, the prime rib veg is particularly loved.
Had the brunch buffet here. It didn't kill me so they get two stars. It was quite terrible. The cheesy potatoes were mush. Corned beef hash was under done, probably from a can. French toast didn't feel fresh. Bacon and sausage were OK, but that's not hard to do. You don't have much of a choice in this area so eat here if you're desperate. Best thing going for this place is the great view of the lake.

Located in beautiful area with the lake out back. Patio eating allows you to dine and view the amazing garden and the lake. Gift shop with local items such as jams, estate items and a trading post. A gem on the North shore. Sunday brunch before a drive home was delightful as always.
You can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake while eating. They also have an outdoor garden which would be a treat if the weather is good. I ordered the Roast Beef Pot Pie and it was just what I needed after spending hours outdoors in the chilly weather.
